Salary: £18,000 - £22,000

Quantity Surveying Administration Assistant



Our client in Battersea is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support their Quantity Surveying (QS) department. Someone with an interest in Quantity Surveying would be preferable, but not essential as long as you have great admin skills. This role would be great for someone who is keen in building a strong career in administration or quantity surveying.


Key Responsibilities:

  •  Processing, checking and saving subcontractor applications, quotes, certificates
  • Chasing tender information for the QS’s
  • Assisting the Head Buyer with procurement of packages for the QS department
  • Answering phone for QS team and answering queries from client team (Architect, PQS)
  • Chasing applications on fixed monthly cycles for 6+ projects and ensuring supporting information is provided
  • Updating the Financial tracking spreadsheets and hyperlinking current applications
  • Chasing of quotation requests made by Surveyors
  • Assistance in issuing Subcontractor Instructions

Person Specification:

  • No Quantity Surveying experience needed, though somebody looking into potentially getting into surveying would be preferable (but not essential)
  • Must have previous administration experience
  • Enthusiastic and energetic administrator
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Hardworking and flexible
