PURPOSE OF ROLE

To support the Temporaries Consultant and Business Manager developing the growth of the temp desk through resourcing candidates and filling temporary bookings.

Preparing the "front end of Payroll" and deputising for Payroll Manager in their absence with the completion of "back end of Payroll" (full training given).

Supporting the desk in the absence of the Temporaries Team Leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resourcing and Registration of all temporary candidates
  • Call all temp candidates every morning to confirm interview attendance
  • Creating and modifying and saving CVs
  • Ensuring Aspire is kept up to date personally – to always make sure a full, accurate, trail of events are logged
  • Keeping temp available list up to date daily
  • Drafting  letters and emails
  • Daily profiles on temps to be sent to selected targeted clients for e shots
  • Ensuring all temps details on Aspire (including test results) and that all legal requirements  to enable them to work legally are met
  • Ensuring all information is taken to enable payroll to be accurate and either entered on or handed over to be done so – checking that it has been done where necessary
  • Ensuring all temps are aware payroll deadlines, meet the minimum requirement in an effort to allow payroll to be completed in the chosen time from.
  • Temp and Client AWR administration
  • Sending out booking confirmation
  • Supporting of filling all bookings
  • Ensuring Temps have all required details to attend booking
  • In the absence of the TM check in temps and rebooks
  • General admin duties to ensure ease and smooth running of temp section – i.e. filing systems etc.
  • Front end payroll, inputting timesheets and processing payroll to export stage
  • Fielding first stage pay queries with temps and resolving any issues with help of Payroll division input.
  • Apsire database to be kept up to date for smooth running of candidate marketing
  • Ad hoc administration
  • To be able to work from both Wimbledon and Epsom to suit the business needs
  • To assist  Directors as and when requested with various tasks if needed

Person Specification

  • Hardworking and enthusiastic
  • Well-educated – GCSEs A-B in Maths and English minimum
  • Excellent IT skills – full familiarity of the MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Great telephone  manner
  • Able to prioritise and multi-task
  • High attention to detail
  • A true people person
  • A quick learner and team player
