Are you a keen individual with high-level PA experience looking to work in an entrepreneurial environment? Our award-winning Wimbledon client is currently seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant to provide support to a very active CEO.

Our client is a thriving business that employs over 50 people, and therefore to be successful in this role you will need to be familiar with working within SMEs and in fast-paced environments. Previous PA experience providing personalised support to a busy Executive or CEO is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for extensive diary management, including arranging appointments, conference calls and travel
  • Word processing documents such as letters, memos, agendas, minutes and reports
  • Writing letters and emails on behalf of the CEO independently as well as from dictation on occasion
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes and managing follow-ups
  • Sorting, prioritising and responding to incoming post and electronic mail
  • Organising Company events when required
  • Maintaining an efficient filing and record keeping system
  • Assisting with projects and research, as well as independently leading projects
  • Answering telephone calls and logging of all calls for the CEO
  • Responsible for accurately submitting the CEO’s reports (such as expenses, team updates, board reports) on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the CEO and responding to any queries in a  timely manner
  • Structuring communication and forward planning with the CEO to ensure priorities and responsibilities are met
  • Ambassador for the business at all times
  • Responsible for managing Front of House Manager and overseeing Office Management activities
  • Support to the wider Leadership team

Person Specification

  • Educated to a degree level
  • Experienced in supporting Executives/CEOs in a SME employing at least 50 people
  • Self-motivated individual who is able to work independently
  • Good communicator, both written and verbally
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (computer skills test will be given before being submitted for the role)
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Analytical skills and the ability to prepare and present information
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Fully confidential at all times
  • Good team player, confident in dealing with people at all levels throughout the business
  • Ability to work within deadlines and, on occasion, manage heavy workloads whilst remaining calm
  • Outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with others in a vibrant environment
  • A natural leader who is comfortable with helping with driving the business forward
