Internal Recruitment Advisor



Are you an ambitious individual who can implement new ideas? Our client in Earlsfield is looking for an Internal Recruitment Advisor to join their HR team. Their company is fast-growing and prides themselves on having a reputation for high quality customer service, therefore they need someone who will ensure that their teams are continuing to grow whilst also making sure all candidates have an excellent experience in their process.

You should be passionate, show perseverance and be able to prioritise and work under pressure. As part of the Recruitment team, you will play a key role in creatively identifying top talent, improving and contributing the employer brand, and scaling recruiting practice the client grows as an organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the recruitment process and be the first point of contact for candidates
  • Communicating with hiring managers to understand vacancy requirements and ensure relevant documentation is updated
  • Assisting HR with workforce planning and improvements
  • Resourcing and screening CVs
  • Performing telephone and face-to-face interviews with candidates
  • Administering appropriate Company assessments
  • Performing necessary vetting, reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to the hiring managers
  • Creating weekly and monthly reports, and conduct recruitment activity analysis reporting to hiring managers and HR managers on the status of open positions
  • Coordinating interviews with managers
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients, i.e. area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations, to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Updating job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
  • Conducting direct recruitment activities, including headhunting via LinkedIn and different avenues
  • General recruitment administration duties conducting exit interviews

Person Specification

  • Experience working in a busy recruitment environment
  • Strong multi-tasker with good organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Uncompromising attention to detail
  • Good team player with the ability to also work independently
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Must be able to confidently advise and lead on recruitment with guidance from the HR Manager
