HR Business Partner – Mitcham
£60,000 - £65,000
Our client based in Mitcham is looking for a HR Business Partner to assist the Head of HR and work in collaboration with the Managing Director of the business to manage all HR requirements for the business and its subsidiary businesses. The business operates within the entertainment and marketing industry with a client base including one of the world’s most valuable brands. This is not an opportunity to be missed! The role will also take on a lead with specific HR projects including Learning, Development and Engagement and will provide support to each according member of senior staff.
•Work closely with Group Head of HR to develop, plan and implement HR initiatives
•Manage the Human Resources function on a day to day basis for Permanent staff and Freelancers in line with ISO procedures
•Advise the Board and management team on potential legal implications and relevant employment law
•Create relevant business cases for projects or to assist Heads of Department in delivering their objectives
•Manage, consult and implement a diverse range of HR projects including Resource Planning, Recruitment, Employer branding, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Engagement initiatives, Performance management, Reward and recognition, Health and Wellbeing and Employment compliance
•Manage the recruitment, on-boarding process and induction of new staff
•Contribute to the on-going development of the organisational structure and drafting of job descriptions.
•Create relevant written content for Marketing and website use
•Develop and integrate any chosen HR software or HRIS system
•Establish links with external training providers to recommend training solutions for identified staff
•Ensure that working directives, legal and health and safety guidelines are implemented, followed and carried out.
•Experience in working autonomously as a stand-alone HR support
•Experience in dealing with a diverse range of employee relations cases
•Experience of implementing HR projects into a diverse environment
•Experience of working in a business that has undergone a change transformation or experiences rapid growth
•Resilient in dealing with diverse characters and situations
•Able to make business recommendations and act with discretion
•Ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
•Quick thinking and pragmatic when guiding managers on day to day HR matters.
