Location: Battersea

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Bi-lingual (English/ Spanish) Human Resources Officer – Battersea

£25,000 - £30,000

 

Our Client based in Battersea is looking for a HR Officer to support their company. The role will include providing support to employees and operations management in all areas of HR whilst consistently demonstrating best practice. You will be reporting to other members of the HR team, operations team and payroll team.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·         Be the first point of contact for general HR-related queries for employees and the operations team.

  • Answer general queries in a timely manner and escalate any issues to the HR Manager as necessary.
  • Assist with the management of HR related matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance improvement, maternity, paternity and right to work and draft relevant letters.
  • Create and send Contracts of Employment.
  • Compile TUPE and Redundancy information.
  • Complete ECS and DBS checks.
  • File HR related documentation.
  • Advertise vacancies as required.
  • Pre -employment reference checking.
  • Update company training records.
  • Ad hoc project work.

 

Personal Specification

·         A real passion to deliver great HR service.

·         Fluent in Spanish but also excellent business English.

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Strong administration skills.

·         Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

·         Can do attitude.

·         Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Excel.

·         Great planning, analytical and organisational abilities.

 

 

Professional qualifications

  • CIPD qualified or partly qualified.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
