Our client is in the market for a proactive Corporate Travel Manager, who would thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment. Their Travel Programme is in need of a strategic and analytic candidate to support to the line manager who has responsibility for the EMEA and APAC regions.

A focus of the role is to monitor the effectiveness of the current travel programmes and provide support in achieving high levels of participation and utilisation through data interrogation and analysis. In addition, the successful candidate will provide operational support to the line manager and support the successful delivery of the travel communication programme. They would also be responsible for supervising and assisting in the implementation and management of all required travel programmes and policies.


  • Drive continuous improvement of the Travel Programmes and ensure objectives are realised
  • Monitor various data sources to analyse trends and participation levels within the Travel Programme
  • Manage and develop the Travel Communication Programme, in conjunction with the Travel Management Company
  • Drive/support travel technology implementations
  • Drive/support supplier management activities
  • Drive/support supplier negotiations
  • Support the maintenance and development of relationships across the group
  • Collate and appropriately action feedback from across the group
  • Provide support in the day to day management of the Travel Management Company
  • Work with counterparts across EMEA and APAC to ensure best practices are being shared
  • Identify potential areas for improvement and present recommendations to the line manager


  • At least 2 years’ experience in Corporate Travel Management
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and practices
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of business
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Impact and gravitas to deliver programme goals across a mixture of cultures and status’
  • Proactive and hands-on
  • Analytical with strong business acumen
  • Ability to analyse data, evaluate options and make recommendations
  • Experience of supporting or leading a multi-country travel sub-category implementation
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel
  • Proficient in other MS Office applications
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of reconciling budgets would be beneficial
