An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to work as a Finance Manager for our client in Chessington. Working with the Group Finance Director, you will help the business on its path of continual growth by identifying relevant deals and partners. Your role will be highly autonomous and have exposure to both finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

·         Day-to -day management of the finance team

·         Providing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and other finance support to the Group Finance Director and the senior management team

·         Play a lead role in the completion of the monthly financial statements across the group

·         Prepare the consolidated group monthly management accounts

·         Assist in the production of monthly KPI reporting

·         Production of Sales and Turnover reporting for the business

·         Oversee the daily processing, raising and payment of invoices (sales and purchasing and expenses)

·         Provide ad-hoc value add analysis to optimise the business performance

·         Assist in the preparation of the Statutory Accounts and VAT

·         Assist with the external Audit process


Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with the ability to pick things up quickly. They will also have the following attributes:

·         Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountant or qualified by substantial experience in the finance and construction industry

·         Autonomous with the ability to be a self-starter and a self-motivator

·         Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities within tight deadlines

·         Highly numerate and strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail

·         Strategic, solution-based thinker with an ability to think laterally

·         Demonstrable advanced Excel and Sage 50 skills

·         Experience with financial reporting within finance and construction industry is highly preferre
