Purchasing Planner

Location: Sittingbourne

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £Up to £23,000


We are looking for a Purchasing Planner to join an incredible company in Sittingbourne. In this role you will be responsible for restocking products, liaising with suppliers to order new stock and establish good communication with suppliers to obtain the best stock for customers.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Maintain minimum / maximum stock levels
  • Managing the documentation of price files from suppliers and a purchasing data base
  • Maintain suppliers Terms & Conditions
  • Maintain product specifications and technical notes
  • Capitalize on purchasing within suppliers promotional calendars
  • Delivery of daily operational reports
  • Oversee & communicate short best before dated products
  • Manage damaged product lines
  • Manage continuous stock checks
  • Challenge suppliers who break trading or delivery terms
  • Process and check goods inwards
  • Handle product defects or complaints
  • Complete monthly retrospective rebate claims
  • Must have previous stock ordering experience
