Distribution & Facilities Assistant

Location: Chessington

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £28,000

This role be will office based, not a home working role

As a Distribution & Facilities Assistant you will be responsible the processing of company items managing safety and storage of products. You will also be in responsible for the overall maintenance of the company buildings.

Key Responsibilities as Distribution & Facilities Assistant

  • Up keeping the right company documentation in order to comply all company Export Licenses
  • Relaying information for clients and partner abroad
  • Completing required reports
  • Analysing shipments and approving/rejecting them
  • Staying up-to-date with EU/UK Export Control law and sanctions change.
  • Ensuring compliance with US Export Control Law (which applies to all US products globally)
  • General Admin duties such as checking and signing off supplier invoices
  • Working with suppliers for product quality and pricing
  • Arranging building maintenance where necessary
  • Responding to e-mail queries
  • Assembling works orders
  • Working with revenue and customs
  • Organising import relief on repairs being received from outside the UK.
  • Organising import and export documents
  • Keeping up to date records for utilities

Key Requirements for Distribution & Facilities Assistant

  • Experience with Distribution and Facilities
  • Experience with Import and Export- ideal but not essential
  • An understanding of SAGE X3 - training will be provided
  • An understanding Microsoft office 365
  • Confident using Teams
  • Experience with Courier web service -UPS WorldShip, My DPD, FedEx ship manager
  • An understanding Barcoding
  • An understanding Stock control
  • Adaptive and willing to learn
  • Can work as part of a team
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
