Business Support Manager

Location: London Heathrow

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £Competitive Salary

An incredible opportunity for Business Support Manager to join a great company. In this role gain more business and maintain and enhance existing business. You will be leading and developing sales supping strategies to attract new customers and obtain business growth.

Key Responsibility as a Business Support Manager:

  • Creating presentation material - including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Supporting events providing supporting materials and related correspondence
  • Support in completing and gathering information required for tenders and presentations
  • Assist with ad hoc projects
  • Overseeing the re-branding process for the business
  • Manage marketing activity in the CRM and other marketing system
  • Contribute in budget process by creating a marketing budget and plan for the coming year
  • Check with country, region, and global processes to authenticate and measure spend
  • Participate in initiatives, projects, and meetings
  • Estimate all Customer requests from sales & branch teams
  • Telesales go to market strategy, ongoing management & development
  • Manage the support to sales staff to enhance client portfolio, safeguard sales revenue and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Cold calling of prospects to make appointments for sales staff
  • Confirming on time submission of professional Tender responses
  • Contribute to the development of the national sales plan and budget

Requirements:

  • A lot of UK business travel
  • Irregular working hours associated with business travel
  • University degree
  • logistics/supply chain management or equivalent knowledge through experience
  • High level of knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite with main focus on MS Excel
  • General Project Management experience
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Analytical Skills and previous experience in developing response strategies
  • Project Manager skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Driven and Customer focus
  • Excellent business, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong leadership and man management skills
