IT Technical Support Analyst

Location: Central London

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £Up to £41,000

An incredible position has opened up as IT Technical Support Analyst in superb office in Central London. Our Client is looking for a person that is adaptable and keen to learn. This is a, hands-on role that needs attention to detail, and someone with excellent customer service in professional services that needs complete discretion.

Key Responsibilities as an IT Technical Support Analyst:

  • Supplying outstanding AV support for clients in pitches and meetings
  • Offering User Access Management assistance
  • Delivering IPT Assistance
  • Providing expert leadership and training for partners and staff
  • Presenting executive support and white glove audio visual (AV) support
  • Providing first and second level assistance to "VVIP" staff, affiliates and clients
  • Support 3rd party teams (Softcat, Unisys) with technical concerns which may influence the supply of their services to the team
  • To be a technical acceleration point for UK Service Delivery Managers

Key requirements and skills as an IT Technical Support Analyst:

  • Strong technical background on end-user/desktop and audio-visual set-up
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Must have, Relevant Microsoft and Apple certifications, Comptia A+ 220-901 & 220-902, ITIL Foundation
  • Other relevant accreditations are advantageous
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
  • A good knowledge of basic networking concepts
  • Have practical experience of Cisco IP telephony and user management

Knowledge/Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of MAC and MS end-user platforms, MS Office, MS Windows, MacOS current desktop.
  • Understanding hardware as well as software troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Must have AV and event support experience in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
  • Understanding of advertising and media businesses, as well as marketplace trends

Leadership:

  • Capability to function within a group and have conflict resolution skills
  • Respond to needs to review or create knowledgebase articles
  • Ready to share knowledge with your peers and work as a team, not in isolation
  • Capability to mentor others in the use and assistance of processes and systems
  • Provide an extreme level of confidentiality

Resource management:

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Work independently, meet guidelines, and procedures using standard ITSM toolsets and identify and adhere to individual and team metrics and KPIs

Communication:

  • Can communicate with executives and their staff at all levels and in language they understand
  • Accountability to report any violations of Security Policy and Systems Standards to management

Travel/Hours of Work:

  • Includes travel may be required, sometimes upon short notice
  • Normal operational support is 08:00hrs - 18.30hrs Monday to Friday, with a team rota to cover these hours.
  • Pitch and event support may be required outside of normal support hours.
  • Out of hours support will be required (Rota).

Individual must also maintain an extreme level of confidentiality in dealing with all information that flows through the office.
