Operations Administrator – would suit a recent Graduate

Location: Wimbledon

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £25,000 +bonus

£25,000 + bonus based on company profit and own KPI’s

Hybrid working role, currently working from home Monday and Friday

As Operations Administrator you will be working closely with the Operations team to deliver administrative provision. You will also oversee ensure that the fleet of assets are well maintained, inspected, certified and prepared in a well-timed manner for clients.

Key Responsibleness as an Inspections and Certifications Administrator:

  • Work the Logistics Controller to pinpoint quantities and types of container units and slings that require recertification
  • Communicate with inspection companies and depots to coordinate timely inspection visits
  • Follow up with Inspection companies to ensure timely receipt of certificates
  • Liaise with inspection companies, depots and suppliers on the refurbishment and or disposal of rejected units / sling sets
  • Complete other administrative and reporting tasks
  • Manage the maintenance and repair process of all containers and container equipment
  • Liaise with depots to collect, assess and when needed negotiate damage estimates in a timely manner
  • Offer Operations Assistants with damage reports / costs
  • Communicate with depots to ensure all repairs are carried out in a timely manner to a standard that is in line with DNV and internal requirements
  • Updating the operating system
  • Take on ad hoc projects such as asset identification and stock-takes, refurbishment programmes and operating system clean-ups
  • Work alongside marketing to ensure the correct decals are procured and supplied to depots prior to mobilisation of equipment
  • Undertake any other reasonable management request which may from time to time be reasonably required.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on asset purchase / disposal and provide timely and accurate reports to management
  • Occasional travel might be required to visit and inspect equipment stored at our third-party depots

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate - Business Management Degree ideal
  • Further education qualifications or related industry
  • Outstanding attention to detail in all aspects of role
  • High standard of PC literacy, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
