Temp HR Assistant
Location: Wandsworth/Battersea area
Temporary Full Time
Salary: £13.50ph
Start 01 May 2023 - end of June possibly longer
As a Temp HR Assistant you will be supporting the HR team with a extensive range of services, including recruitment and selection, freelance/casual contracting, assessments, and L&D and benefits management.
Key requirements as a Temp HR Assistant:
Recruitment support:
- Adding recruitment commercials to the company website, LinkedIn and other recruitment jobs boards
- Assist the first stage of the recruitment procedure including communicating with applicants and recruiting managers
- Administer the status of applications, short listing process, recruitment stages through to offer
- Manage interviews with candidates and panel of interviewers guaranteeing all aspects of organisation are administered effectively
- Finish inspection process in accordance with company policy, entering references, Right to Work and safeguarding / DBS checks
Information and GDPR:
- Enter and manage current and new employees data onto HRIS system including employees, casual workers, independent contractors and temporary staff
- Data cleanse in keeping with GDPR retention guideline
- Maintain the quality of data in HR databases
- Conduct annual soft and hard paper file maintenance in the HR office/drive and taking action accordingly
- Filing recruitment campaigns and delete candidates’ applications and documents 6 months after recruitment campaigns have taken place
Contracting:
- Mail merge and issue Statements of Engagements
- Maintain records of signed Statements of Engagements
Event and Training Administration and Organisation:
- Organise induction presentations with new starters etc.
- Organisation includes scheduling presentations with the HR team
- Contribute to ideas, support, implement and participate in engagement and well-being initiatives
- Managing and keeping up-to-date intranet;
- Attend and assist at events as well as training sessions as required
Key requirements as a Temp HR Assistant:
- Administrative experience
- Completed GCSE level education (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload
- Excellent ability on Microsoft Office including word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Social media skills including LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media sites as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
