Sales Manager

Location: Wimbledon

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £60,000-£80,000

Our client is looking for a business development/sales professional specialised in selling SaaS based payments solutions (SEPA, Instant Payments, Swift, …) to financial institutions in Europe.

The Primary responsibilities are to build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with existing clients and to support Sales & Presales as and when required.


Key Responsibilities as a Sales Manager:

  • Understanding customers', specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.
  • Coordinate Sales meeting and providing assistance to Sales-Presales.
  • Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls.
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently.
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing payments domain.
  • Assist Sales and Presales Team in Meeting sales targets set by Sales Team.
  • Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades.
  • Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature.
  • To provide product consultancy in support of sales during client calls (cross selling)
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently.
  • Drafting proposals (pricing and product)


Key Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in managing the Sales Function in Payments /Financial Domain.

Essential Skills:

• Sound inter-personal skills.

• Driven to succeed, organized and team player

• Self-motivated, conscientious and be able to make a business sales case.

• Strong Communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels

• Excellent presentation skills

• Displays a positive attitude and demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work.

• Sets high standards of performance for oneself. F. Additional Skills:

Desirable not essential:

• Good understanding of Payments, Corporate banking domains.

• Experience in selling SaaS based payment solutions to financial institutions is a plus

Educational Background

• Bachelor University / Master University
