Regional Business Manager

Location: Manchester

Permanent Full Time

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000

Are you a dynamic leader with strong business and financial acumen? Do you have a proven track record in strategy development and implementation? If so, you may be perfect for our clients Regional Business Manager role!


You will be working alongside the Regional Partner and Regional Partner Deputy in the North region to deliver the Regional Business Plan. As Regional Business Manager you will oversee day-to-day operations across regions, ensuring consistency and excellence in the running of their studios and in the efficient delivery of architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Regional Business Manager:
• Oversee day-to-day operations across the client’s region’s 3 cost centres.
• Collaborate with Regional Partner (RP) and Regional Partner Deputy (dRP) to define and implement strategic goals for the region.
• General regional leadership.
• Financial management.
• Oversee the financial health of all cost centres within the region, providing commentary to RP, dRP and local Leadership Team on change and potential risks to achieving financial targets.
• Oversee regional budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation of resources.
• Supervise day-to-day business operations, ensuring adherence to organisational standards.
• Support the Leadership Team in their work winning initiatives.
• Support the RP & dRP to identify trends and patterns affecting work-winning and bid performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar managerial role within the construction or professional services industry.
• Previous positions with regional or multi-location responsibilities with minimum team size of 50 people and turnover of £5m.
• Proven experience of leading a team through project lifecycles (planning, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking) ensuring delivery meets budget, programme and quality standards.
• Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, planning and vision-setting in previous roles.
• Exceptional leadership and team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial acumen.
• Ability to manage risk, implement solutions and drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in operational management
