Our Client in Putney is seeking a Guest Communications Manager for maternity cover with possibility to go permanent. The role will involve overseeing the guest management requirements, scheduling, processes and resource in line and support with the small Events Team. The main overview of the role is to manage the communications schedule and lead guest management processes in support of the team for a range of live events and communication projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Responsibility for account / event hotlines and corresponding email inboxes and to manage and prioritise responses on a daily basis

·         Act as the first point of contact for queries from Retailers, clients and customers

·         Cultivation of relationships within the Retailer network

·         Collate and input guest and client responses into different types of online databases

·         Collating data in Excel spreadsheets

·         Management of weekly and ad-hoc status reports direct to clients

·         Assist with post event attendance analysis and project feedback reporting

·         Proofing and editing of mailing elements and communications

·         Management and organisation of freelance guest management resource plus all processes, files and documents

 

Personal Specification:

·         Data and communications experience

·         Fanatical attention to detail is critical for the role, including thorough checking processes

·         Excellent (intermediate level as a minimum) Excel skills and a desire and interest to always learn more

·         Previous knowledge and use of Dot Mailer and other mailing systems

·         Strong administration and organisational skills

·         Excellent phone manner and communications skills

·         Ability to organise and prioritise workload and regularly report back to different managers on status, completion and queries across multiple events

·         Ability to organise and manage resource and freelance requirements

·         Attention to detail is critical to the role

·         A love and a strong interest in data and a desire to solve any inconsistencies and progress data skills

·         Diligent, reliable and conscientious

·         Language skills (particularly German) would be a benefit but not essential

·         Solid PPT skills and a desire to learn more

·         Experience in using other Microsoft office applications and software packages
