Carlton Recruitment is looking for an assertive challenging and engaging quality specialist, who is passionate about delivering quality and has the interpersonal skills to support the leadership of the Quality Agenda through the organization. This role is critical to the future success of the company to maintain their reputation, control costs and ensure an efficient operation at all times.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Form strong partnerships across all levels of the business and help to create a culture of “right first time” quality.

·         Work with customer service, supplier management and operations to ensure all processes are adopted and completed to the agreed standard, ensuring service meets that of their customers, BRC, Organic and legal requirements. .

·         Ensure all management reporting on quality is timely, accurate, well presented, commercially insightful and intuitive.

·         Help lead, motivate and develop the quality awareness ensuring they deliver timely execution of projects and grow the business and the individuals within.

 

Accountability

·       Assist Quality Manager to create a quality strategy.

·       Complete and report against agreed daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s for your area, ensuring data is accurate and well presented

·       Assist with implementing systems that facilitate productivity, improve process to promote reliability..

·       Have strong understanding of customer quality standards and those within the industry.

·       Audit suppliers and work with customers to ensure products delivered meet both company / BRC standards.

·       Ensure packaging and consumables delivered are to specification and suitable for purpose.

·       Support and/or lead customer quality visits to site and ensure communication is clear and concise.

·       Complete all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual routines on time and to a first-class standard.

·       Identify, monitor and challenge all quality KPI’s throughout all functions.

·       Participate in review meetings to ensure we meet the latest standards and legislation..

·         Become a valid member of the HACCP team and participate in scheduled reviews.

·         Identify, monitor and challenge all quality KPI’s throughout all functions.

·        Manage processes to ensure that the team is effective to meet business goals.

·         Ensure hygiene standards are audited and maintained to company,  BRC and Organic standard.

 

Experience:

·        A hands on, commercial individual with experience of leading a team and delivering objectives.

·        A track record of dealing with customers and understanding their needs.

·        Experience of quality systems and BRC standards.

·        Evidence of successfully leading change.

·        Evidence of working at pace with suppliers

·        High level of communication skills both verbal and written; Excellent personal and business presentation.

·        Ability to identify improvements and implement with team engagement.

·        Strong team player, leader and sound management skills.
