Location: Southwark

Contract

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

Accounts Assistant

Maternity Cover, 9 months to 1 year

£24,000 - £27,000 pro rata

Southwark, London, SE1

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing all purchases and expenses for payment
  • Daily banking, receipts, payments and maintaining and updating the cash book
  • FX transactions
  • Entering monthly commissions
  • Managing new and existing customer credit limits
  • Chasing overdue debtors
  • Submitting sales and VAT reports
  • Preparing bank and petty cash files and monthly reconciliation

Person Specification:
 

  • A working knowledge of an Accounts Departments and procedures are essential
  • Foreign exchange experience
  • Articulate
  • Organised
  • Computer literate
