Fantastic opportunity to work for a global brand with Media. Assisting the Accounts Receivable Manager in ensuring that the Accounts Receivable team meets the agreed level of service, with regards to Accounts Receivable and WIP management. You will have experience of supervising staff from a distance within a Media based company

Team of 35 Offshore Billing Co-Ordinators (based in India) covering businesses across multiple networks.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Sales invoices are created accurately and distributed on time, through management of the Offshore Billing Co-Ordinator team.
  • All project journals are reasonable, adequately supported and processed on a timely basis
  • Cash application is performed in an accurate and timely manner, and unallocated cash is investigated and resolved.
  • Collections are received in line with client terms and disputes and late payments are resolved in a timely manner.
  • System data is reconciled and maintained on a regular basis, including client data, and ensure jobs are reconciled and closed when necessary.
  • Monitor and be proactive regarding the WIP.
  • Conduct WIP meetings with account management at the relevant business.
  • Implement improvements in the processes and workflows.
  • Rigorous control environment operates without exception across the accounts receivable function and be the key contact for both internal and external testers of the control environment.
  • Manage the key stake holders in each agency and build good relationships, representing the Shared Service Centre to the businesses.
  • To be able to tailor communications to different stakeholders (team members, external clients, personnel, senior management etc.)


Very organised with good attention to detail

Experience of supervising / managing a billings team

Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work allocation, while able to delegate tasks effectively and also perform tasks when team members are absent

Able to work to tight deadlines

Strong communication and relationship building skills

Strong team player

Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude

Proactive and able to work independently

Shows initiative through encouraging and initiating change, while implementing the change effectively

Able to relate financial information to non-financial people

Knowledge of Microsoft AX desirable but not essential.
